These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of NosTale Raid Helper (the "Bot", "we", "us", or "our"), a Discord bot designed to help Discord servers organize raids and marathons.
By inviting, configuring, accessing, or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Bot.
1. What the Bot Does
The Bot provides tools for Discord servers to manage raid and marathon activities. Features may include creating raid or marathon posts, managing participants, specialists, elemental groups, waitlists, notification roles, notes, dates, times, and related server settings.
2. Discord Terms and Policies
The Bot operates on Discord and uses the Discord API. You must comply with Discord's own terms, policies, rules, and community standards when using the Bot.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Bot to:
- violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Policies;
- harass, abuse, spam, threaten, or target other users;
- post unlawful, harmful, or misleading content;
- attempt to exploit, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Bot;
- use automation or scripts to abuse Bot features;
- store or submit content that you do not have permission to use.
4. Server Administrator Responsibility
Server administrators are responsible for how they configure and use the Bot in their Discord servers. This includes choosing channels, notification roles, permissions, and who can create, edit, or delete raids and marathons.
Server administrators should make sure their server members understand how raid and marathon information may be displayed in the server.
5. Privacy
Your use of the Bot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data the Bot collects, why it is collected, where it is stored, and how deletion requests can be made.
6. Availability and Changes
The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Bot will always be online, error-free, uninterrupted, or available in every Discord server.
We may modify, suspend, limit, or remove features at any time, including for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, infrastructure limits, or changes to Discord's API or policies.
7. Data Removal and Access Removal
We reserve the right to remove raids, marathons, stored data, server configurations, or Bot access if the Bot is abused, used in violation of these Terms, used in violation of Discord's policies, or used in a way that may harm the Bot, users, Discord servers, or infrastructure providers.
Server administrators may delete raids and marathons using the Bot's available features where supported. Additional deletion requests can be submitted through the support server.
8. No Affiliation
The Bot is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Discord, NosTale, Gameforge, or any related owners, publishers, or partners.
All trademarks, game names, service names, and logos belong to their respective owners.
9. No Warranty
The Bot is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no promises that the Bot will meet your requirements, prevent all mistakes, preserve all data, or operate without interruption.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunities, server disruption, missed raids, scheduling mistakes, or other losses related to your use of the Bot.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
